Matawalle Backs Tinubu for Second Term at Kaduna Event

Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence and former Governor of Zamfara State, has publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, asserting that Tinubu's performance since taking office has been impressive. This declaration was made on Friday during the unveiling of the North-West headquarters of the Tinubu Again Movement in Kaduna, which precedes the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off.

Matawalle, who is the founder and convener of the Tinubu Again Movement, stated that the group would work to promote the achievements of the Tinubu administration in preparation for the 2027 presidential election. He mentioned that the movement's initiatives, including empowerment programs, are in progress and aim to communicate the President's Renewed Hope Agenda to communities nationwide.

The unveiling event was attended by notable figures, including former Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency, Mohammed Sani Sidi, and former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, among other political stakeholders and community leaders.
