Tinubu Acknowledges El-Rufai's Influence Amid Corruption

Oladimeji Fabiyi, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that President Bola Tinubu has recognized the political strength of former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai. Fabiyi's comments came during a statement on Thursday, where he noted that this recognition has prompted the federal government to unleash Nigeria's three major anti-graft agencies, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), against El-Rufai.

The ADC has accused the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), of acting out of fear due to ongoing corruption allegations against its members. Fabiyi emphasized that the government's focus on El-Rufai is part of a broader strategy to address financial crimes and corruption within the political landscape of Nigeria.
