Tinubu's Aide Affirms Commitment to Infrastructure Development in Nigeria's Northwest

Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai, a senior special assistant to President Bola Tinubu, expressed support for Tinubu's infrastructure development initiatives in Nigeria's Northwest region. Yakasai commended Tinubu's commitment to enhancing infrastructure, particularly through projects like the Zaria-Gusau-Sokoto dual carriageway.

The project, awarded by the Federal Government, aims to boost commercial activities and improve security and social development in the region. The contract for the 372-kilometer highway project was categorized into four sections covering various states.

Engineer Kasimu Yusuf highlighted the progress of the project, with sections two and three showing completion percentages of 52% and 14%, respectively. Yakasai urged contractors to adhere to contractual agreements to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

The visit was described as a welcome development by Yusuf, emphasizing the importance of such infrastructure projects in the region.
