Adebayo Critiques Tinubu's Handling of Electoral Act

In an interview with Daily Post, Adewale Adebayo, the former presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), expressed his discontent with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that Tinubu "messed up" concerning the Electoral Act. Adebayo's comments came in the context of discussing the primary political parties, particularly the need for consensus in direct primaries.

He highlighted the challenges faced by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) as they prepare for the 2027 elections. Adebayo emphasized that the current political style and actions of politicians, particularly within the APC, have not favored the present political climate, leading to grievances among party members.
