Umahi's Son Wins APC Chairmanship Primary in Ohaozara Local Government Area

Osborn Umahi, the son of Governor Umahi, won the APC chairmanship primary in Ohaozara local government area with 55 votes, as reported after the primary election held in Obiozara. The exercise saw Osborn emerge victorious without facing any opposition as his rival was disqualified.

The primary was conducted by the APC Congress Committee led by Alphonsu Nwali. Osborn outlined his priorities, focusing on health, agriculture, youth empowerment, and infrastructure development, particularly enhancing the road network.

He expressed gratitude for the support received, including from Governor Francis Nwifuru and others. Local leaders and stakeholders welcomed Osborn's victory.

Notably, Chioma Nweze, a senior special assistant to President Bola Tinubu, congratulated Osborn on his win.
