Tinubu Mourns Emir of Zurmi, Alhaji Bello Sulaiman

President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences following the death of the Emir of Zurmi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Bello Sulaiman, who died on Monday, five years after ascending the throne. In a statement released on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu extended his sympathies to the late Emir's family, the Zurmi Emirate Council, the Zamfara State Government, and the people of Zamfara State.

The President described Sulaiman as a respected monarch who led with wisdom, dignity, and commitment during challenging times. He acknowledged the late Emir's courage and leadership in navigating security challenges while fostering peace, unity, and resilience within the Zurmi Emirate.

Tinubu stated that Sulaiman was a stabilizing figure whose counsel was invaluable to the emirate and the broader efforts to restore peace in North-West Nigeria. He prayed for Allah's forgiveness for the late monarch's shortcomings and comfort for those mourning his loss.
