Bola Tinubu Names First Female DG of Nigerian Law School

Bola Tinubu, the President's spokesperson, has approved the appointment of Dr. Olugbemisola Titilayo Odusote as the first female Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, starting January 10, 2026.

Odusote, aged 54, currently serves as the Deputy Director-General and will be responsible for the institution's academic leadership, administration, and strategic direction. She succeeds Professor Isa Hayatu Chiroma.

Odusote holds a LL.B. degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, a LL.M. specializing in Company and Commercial Law, and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Surrey, UK.
