Bola Tinubu Appoints Rotimi Oyedepo as Director of Public Prosecutions in Federal Ministry of Justice

Bola Tinubu, the Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, has approved the appointment of Rotimi Oyedepo as the new Director of Public Prosecutions in the Federal Ministry of Justice. Oyedepo, a 2007 law graduate, brings 15 years of experience specializing in prosecuting complex economic and financial crimes at the EFCC.

He is expected to enhance the government's legal strategies and reduce reliance on external counsel. Oyedepo succeeds Abubakar Babadoko, who is retiring on December 31, 2025.
