Bola Tinubu Replaces Heads of Petroleum Regulators Amid Corruption Allegations

Bola Tinubu, in response to corruption allegations involving Aliko Dangote, has replaced the leaders of two key petroleum regulatory bodies in Nigeria, NMDPRA and NUPRC. Farouk Ahmed stepped down, leading to the nomination of Oritsemeyiwa Amanorisewo Eyesan and Saidu Moham as new heads.

Eyesan brings extensive experience from NNPC, while Moham has a background in chemical engineering and has served in various executive roles. These changes come as part of efforts to address corruption and enhance regulatory oversight in the oil and gas sector.
