Tinubu Directs Ibas to Prepare Handover Notes for Fubara

Nigerian political figure Bola Tinubu has reportedly instructed Vice Admiral Ibas to prepare comprehensive handover notes for Fubara. This development follows Tinubu's declaration of a state of emergency in a state, leading to the suspension of elected officials and the appointment of Ibas as Sole Administrator.

Sources indicate that Fubara's imminent return was discussed during a recent meeting at the Presidential Villa. The reinstatement of Fubara is said to be contingent on strict conditions, including the payment of outstanding allowances to suspended lawmakers.

This move comes in the context of a Supreme Court ruling regarding the status of 27 lawmakers in the state House of Assembly.
