Tinubu Backs Ribadu Amid El-Rufai's Controversy

During the inauguration of a government project in Adamawa State, President Bola Tinubu passed a vote of confidence on Nuhu Ribadu, highlighting his leadership qualities and assuring the country of overcoming insecurity under his guidance. Tinubu stated that Ribadu is performing excellently, with results expected to defeat bandits and terrorists, thereby ensuring national security.

He urged leaders to collaborate for the welfare of citizens and future generations, praising investments in education and infrastructure. This commendation follows allegations against former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who was accused last month of procuring 10 kilograms of thallium sulfate, a highly toxic substance.

El-Rufai denied these claims and called for evidence to be submitted to the Department of State Services (DSS) for investigation. The DSS has filed charges related to the alleged interception of Ribadu's phone conversations.

Tinubu also commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for executing impactful projects and pledged continued support for democratic dividends.
