Bola Tinubu Presents N58.1 Trillion 2026 Budget to National Assembly for Economic Growth

Former Lagos State Governor and political leader Bola Tinubu presented the N58.1 trillion 2026 budget to the National Assembly in Abuja. The budget aims to consolidate economic reforms, with key allocations for defense, security, infrastructure, education, and health sectors.

Tinubu highlighted a deficit of N23.85 trillion, equivalent to 4.28% of GDP, emphasizing the need for job-rich growth and poverty reduction. The budget also includes provisions for modernizing the armed forces, enhancing border security, and supporting education and health sectors.
