Tinubu Reappoints Dankaka As FCC Chairman, Names Secretary, Commissioners

President Bola Tinubu has reappointed Muheeba Dankaka as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission for a second term. Mohammed Musa has been named as the Commission Secretary, while Kayode Oladele from Ogun State has been appointed as a Commissioner.

Other Commissioners who have been reappointed include Lawal Roni from Jigawa, Abubakar Bunu from Kebbi, and Eludayo Eluyemi from Osun. Additionally, several new Commissioners have been appointed from various states across Nigeria.

The reappointments and new appointments aim to ensure fair representation and distribution of resources across the country. Dankaka's first term as Chairman had expired, and he had served as Acting Chairman before being reappointed.

The appointments are set to last until 2024.
