Tinubu reappoints Dankaka as FCC chair, expands commission with fresh appointments

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reappointed Muheeba Dankaka as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) for a second term, in a move seen as strengthening the commission. The announcement also included the appointment of Mohammed Musa as the new secretary of the commission, with Kayode Oladele retained as a commissioner.

President Tinubu renewed the appointment of Lawal Ya'u Roni and Abubakar Atiku Bunu for another term, emphasizing continuity and stability within the FCC. Additionally, Tinubu appointed 31 new commissioners from various states and the Federal Capital Territory, showcasing a diverse array of talent and leadership.

These appointments reflect Tinubu's commitment to ensuring equitable representation and fostering unity among Nigeria's diverse regions through the FCC.
