Tinubu Condoles Amaechi Over Mother's Passing at 89

President Bola Tinubu sent a message of condolence to Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport and current vice presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), after the passing of his mother, Dame Ezinn Mari Oduah Amaechi, who died at the age of 89. In a statement issued on Friday by Tinubu's special adviser on strategic communications, Bayo Onanuga, he described the late matriarch as a woman of strong faith whose life was devoted to family and human service.

Tinubu acknowledged her commitment to the Catholic faith and praised her for raising children dedicated to public service, reflecting values that earned her the respect of many. He extended heartfelt condolences to Amaechi and the entire Amaechi family, urging them to find comfort in the legacy of faith and dignity left behind by Dame Mari Amaechi.
