Tinubu Mourns Dame Ezinne Amaechi's Passing at 89

President Bola Tinubu mourned the passing of Dame Ezinne Amaechi, the mother of former Rivers State Governor and Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi, who died at the age of 89. In a statement released on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the late matriarch as a woman of deep faith whose life was marked by love, sacrifice, and selfless service.

He noted that Dame Amaechi was a devoted Catholic who upheld strong family values and raised her children to commit to public service. Tinubu expressed his heartfelt condolences to Rotimi Amaechi and the entire Amaechi family, acknowledging the loss felt by the people of Rivers State.
