Tinubu Recalls NTA DG and ED, Reverses Previous Appointments

President Bola Tinubu has directed the recall of Mr. Salihu Abdullahi Dembos as the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Mr.

Ayo Adewuyi as the Executive Director of News. This decision reverses previous appointments made by the President, including the appointment of new executives like Rotimi Richard Pedro, Karimah Bello, Stella Din, and Sophia Issa Mohammed.

Dembos and Adewuyi are set to resume their roles following a brief hiatus, while the new appointments have been rescinded. The move signifies a shift in leadership within the NTA as Tinubu asserts control over key positions in the state broadcaster.
