Tinubu Sets Up Abbas-Led Panel To Resolve Bauchi APC Crisis

Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, has established a panel led by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Abbas, to address the internal crisis within the Bauchi chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The panel, which includes key members such as Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, aims to resolve the issues that have plagued the party in the state for a year.

The committee began its work in late July and has already held key stakeholder meetings to tackle the crisis. The panel is expected to submit its recommendations within the coming week, following a one-month timeline set by Abbas.

The intervention is focused on restoring unity within the Bauchi APC and ensuring a smooth transition ahead of the party congress.
