Tinubu, Soyinka, Sanwo-Olu to Honor Braithwaite

A memorial lecture to honor the late legal icon Dr. Olatunji Akintunde Braithwaite is scheduled for May 2, 2026, at 12 noon, at the Transcorp Hilton Conference Hall in Abuja. The event will be attended by notable dignitaries, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka, Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and former Osun State Governor Chief Bisi Akande.

Olumide Braithwaite, the son of the late legal luminary, confirmed the arrangements as a member of the organizing committee. The program will feature the official launch of a biography chronicling Braithwaite's life and professional journey, aiming to inspire younger generations within the legal profession and public service.
