Tinubu Swears In New FCC Chair and 37 Commissioners in Abuja Ceremony

In a ceremony at the State House in Abuja, President Tinubu swore in Hulayat Omidiran as the new Chair of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) alongside 37 commissioners representing various states and federal territories. Omidiran, a former member of the House of Representatives, brings extensive experience in sports administration.

The event also saw the inauguration of other commissioners like Peter Ez and Abdulwasiu Bawalla. Omidiran's appointment follows her nomination and confirmation by the Senate after a thorough screening process.
