Tinubu to Inaugurate Renovated National Theatre in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu will inaugurate the newly renovated National Arts Theatre in Lagos on October 1, marking Nigeria's 65th Independence Anniversary. The iconic complex, now named the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, underwent transformation funded by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Bankers Committee.

The event will feature performances by the National Troupe and top Nigerian artists, with Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka delivering a special address. Dignitaries including state governors, federal lawmakers, and cultural ambassadors will attend, highlighting the significance of the project in promoting Nigerian arts and culture.
