Tinubu Inaugurates Ansar-Ud-Deen National Secretariat

On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the new National Headquarters of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, named Hassanat Abebi Okunnu House, located in Surulere, Lagos. Represented by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, Tinubu commended the Society for its significant contributions to national development, particularly in education and humanitarian efforts over its more than one hundred years of service.

He emphasized that the government cannot achieve the nation's aspirations alone and called for collaboration with private and faith-based institutions. Tinubu urged the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society to continue promoting religious tolerance and community service.

Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat echoed the need for the Society to uphold its values amidst declining societal standards, stressing the importance of education. The Society's National President, Adeniji Kazeem, was also present at the event.
