Tinubu Urges Faith Leaders to Promote Peace and Unity

Former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, called on religious leaders in Nigeria to play a pivotal role in promoting peace, reconciliation, and nation-building. Tinubu made this appeal during the Second Plenary Meeting of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria in Akwa Ibom State.

He praised the Catholic Church for its contributions to education, healthcare, and moral guidance, especially in underserved communities. Tinubu emphasized the importance of faith leaders in fostering national unity, denouncing violence, and offering constructive solutions to societal challenges, highlighting the critical role they play in shaping values and reducing conflicts.
