Tinubu Calls for Peace and Unity, Urges Religious Leaders to Shun Extremism

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu urged religious leaders in Nigeria to promote peace and reject extremism. Speaking at the Second Plenary Meeting of the Catholic Bishops Conference in Akwa Ibom State, Tinubu emphasized the role of faith leaders in fostering reconciliation and national unity.

He highlighted the need to address insecurity, social unrest, poverty, and inequality in the country. Tinubu commended the Catholic Church for its investments in education, health, and social welfare, pledging government support for their initiatives.

He encouraged the Church to continue advocating for truth and offering solutions to build a more integrated nation.
