Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary in Ondo State

Bola Tinubu emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary held in Ondo State, securing 181,996 votes. The results were announced by Governor Lucki Aiyedatiwa on Sunday, following the primary conducted on Saturday.

Tinubu defeated his only opponent, Stanlei Osifo, who received no votes. The primary had a total of 193,334 registered APC members, with 181,996 accredited to participate, resulting in a 93% turnout.

Governor Aiyedatiwa described the primary as a success, showcasing unity and loyalty among party members. He noted that the APC aims to achieve over one million votes for Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections.

APC Chairman Babatund Kolawole commended Aiyedatiwa and party members for their commitment to a peaceful process. Former Governor Olusegun Mimiko expressed satisfaction with the outcome and acknowledged the support for Tinubu across the country.
