Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary with 10.9M Votes

Bola Ahmed Tinubu secured victory in the APC presidential primary, garnering 10.99 million votes, significantly surpassing his closest challenger, Stanlei Osifo, who received 16,504 votes. The results were announced during the presidential primary election held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Following his nomination, Tinubu delivered an acceptance speech where he called on members of the APC to unite and work together to prevent politicians lacking clear alternatives from regressing Nigeria. He expressed gratitude to party members for bestowing upon him the honor of being the torchbearer for the January 2027 elections.

Tinubu pledged to build a secure, prosperous, and inclusive government that listens to the needs of Nigerians. He emphasized the importance of not allowing complacency to enable politicians without a clear vision to take the country backward, marking a significant step forward for Nigeria's democracy.
