Zamfara PDP Criticizes Tinubu's Directive on Matawalle's Deployment to Kebbi Amid School Abduction Drama

The Zamfara State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has criticized President Tinubu's directive to deploy Governor Matawalle to Kebbi following the abduction of students, calling it mere political theatrics. The PDP spokesperson, Jamil Jibo, questioned Matawalle's competence in handling security challenges, accusing the APC-led administration of failing to end insecurity in Nigeria.

In response, the APC public secretary described the PDP's remarks as an attempt to undermine national security. The PDP also commended President Tinubu for canceling his trip to South Africa to address the abduction issue.

Governor Dauda Lawal was criticized for allegedly not providing adequate support to the victims in Kebbi.
