Tinubu's Government Urges Nigerians to Report VIPs Still Using Police Escorts

The government of Bola Tinubu in Nigeria has called on citizens to report VIPs who continue to use police escorts despite a directive to withdraw them. Daniel Bwala, a special adviser to the president, emphasized the need for citizens to document and report cases of ineligible individuals still using police escorts.

The directive, however, does not cover all government officials, particularly those involved in security services like the State Security Service and Civil Defence Corps. This move aims to reform and improve police efficiency in public security duties.
