Tinubu's Forum Responds to Obi's 2027 Election Comments

The Ndigbo Tinubu 2027 Forum has responded to comments made by former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi concerning the 2027 presidential election. Obi expressed concerns about factors affecting political prospects within opposition parties during a radio interview in Aba, Abia State.

The forum, represented by its Secretary General Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and Dr. Ugwuok Ugwuok, dismissed Obi's claims as misleading and unfounded, highlighting the various challenges faced within his own political party.

They noted that Obi's anxiety may stem from perceived difficulties in securing support for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar during the ADC primaries, rather than interfering with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's statements. The forum also pointed out Obi's history of political nominations without contesting party primaries, contrasting it with the records of other leaders like former Southeast Governor Senator Dave Umahi and Senator Chimaroke Nnamani.

They concluded by urging Obi to reassess his political strategies and embrace democratic principles to navigate the upcoming 2027 elections.
