Tinubu's Reforms Boost State Development Funds, Says Presidency

The Presidency, represented by special adviser Bayo Onanuga, announced that President Bola Tinubu's economic reforms have successfully increased the resources available to state governments, facilitating the execution of development projects. Onanuga made these remarks on Tuesday during a media tour in Umuahia, Abia State, organized by the Renew Hope Project.

He stressed the importance of collaboration between federal and state governments to drive national development and commended the existing cordial relationship between the two levels of government. Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, represented by Deputy Ikechukwu Emetu, described the media tour as a significant step towards promoting transparency and accountability in government programs.

Otti urged journalists to provide accurate information to citizens, emphasizing the role of the media in rebuilding public trust. He highlighted the state administration's focus over the past three years on infrastructure development, security, education, and healthcare reforms aimed at attracting investment and improving citizens' lives.
