Philanthropist Luqman to Fund Education for Toluwanisings' Kids

Hon. Dr Ibrahim Adekunle Luqman has committed to sponsoring the education of the children of late gospel singer Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, known as Toluwanisings, from their current educational levels through university. This pledge was made during a visit to Toluwanisings' father after the singer's death on October 14, 2026.

A video of the meeting has circulated online. In addition to the scholarship, Luqman is arranging new accommodation for the late singer's father.

This support comes at a challenging time for the family, who are mourning the loss of Toluwanisings and making arrangements for the welfare of his widow, Akanbi Elizabeth, and their children. Following his death, the family initiated a support fund to assist the widow and children.

There are also ongoing disagreements within the family regarding the burial location of the singer, with differing preferences expressed by his father, widow, and uncle.
