Tompolo Calls for Support of Tinubu's Re-Election Bid

Tompolo, a prominent Niger Delta militant leader, urged Nigerians to support the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He made this appeal in a statement issued on Tuesday, coordinated by the Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement, led by Sunday Adekanbi Asuku.

Tompolo highlighted the economic reforms initiated by Tinubu's administration, which he claims have begun to yield positive results, including increased foreign investment and improvements in Nigeria's capital market and fiscal autonomy for sub-national governments. He referenced key economic indicators, such as the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), to demonstrate the tangible outcomes of these reforms.

Tompolo emphasized the need for collective action among Nigerians to mobilize support for Tinubu's re-election, stating that every vote is crucial. He announced the inauguration of the Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement, which aims to strengthen grassroots mobilization ahead of the elections scheduled for July 9, 2026.
