Tinubu Deserves Re-election, Says Presidency Officials

On Sunday, the Presidency asserted that President Bola Tinubu merits re-election in 2027, citing his administration's economic reforms and infrastructure development across Nigeria. Tunde Rahman, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Special Duties, made these remarks during a nationwide inspection of federal and state infrastructure projects in Nasarawa State, led by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.

Rahman dismissed opposition claims that Tinubu has accomplished nothing, stating that the visible infrastructure improvements, including roads and healthcare interventions, are direct results of the President's reforms. He emphasized that both Governor Alia of Benue and Governor Sule of Nasarawa credited federal fiscal reforms for their project execution capabilities.

Rahman appealed to Nigerians to consider the President's record when voting in the next election. Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, described the inspected projects as lasting legacies of the Tinubu administration, reinforcing the narrative of significant public infrastructure advancements.
