Jigawa State Records Sharp Decline in Inflation Rates, Among Top 10 Most Affordable States in Nigeria

In September 2025, Jigawa State in Nigeria saw a notable drop in inflation rates, recording an annual inflation rate of 16.3%, marking a sharp decline from 23.1% in August. The state's food inflation rate also decreased to 12.1% in September.

Governor Umar Namadi's interventions, including worker and agricultural support programs, have contributed to this decline.
