Nigeria's Top 10 Property Developers for 2026 Revealed

Fortren & Company has ranked Nigeria's top 10 property developers for 2026, evaluating firms based on completed portfolios, scale of delivery, market presence, sector focus, flagship projects, and organizational maturity. The ranking highlights developers active in residential, mixed-use, and large-scale urban developments, primarily in Lagos and Abuja.

Landmark Africa Group, led by CEO Paul Onwuanibe, ranks tenth with five completed projects, focusing on mixed-use and commercial real estate, including Landmark Village and Landmark Nike Lake Resort. Chagoury Group, founded by Gilbert and Ronald Chagoury in 1971, ranks ninth with 560 completed units across three projects, notably Eko Atlantic City in Lagos.

UPDC Plc, established in 1997 and led by CEO Odunayo Ojo, ranks eighth with 1,000 completed units, focusing on residential and mixed-use properties, with flagship developments in Lekki, Lagos.
