Top Northern Senator Wadada Dumps SDP Days After Meeting Tinubu, Gives Reason

Northern Senator Ahmed Wadada has resigned from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) just days after meeting with Bola Tinubu. In a letter addressed to the chairman of Tudun Ward in Keffi local government area, Wadada cited reasons for his departure, including dissatisfaction with the party's dynamism.

This move comes after Wadada expressed support for Tinubu's administration and dismissed claims that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) could produce a leader capable of surpassing Tinubu's achievements. Wadada hinted at a possible return to the All Progressives Congress (APC), where he previously served as a national officer.

The SDP, a prominent opposition party in Nigeria, accused Wadada of falsely parading as a party member and attempting to destabilize the party through unconstitutional actions.
