During the Society of Petroleum Engineers' 2025 Nigeria Annual International Conference, Deputy Managing Director Victor Bandele highlighted the importance of developing human capacity for the oil and gas industry.

TotalEnergies has a graduate trainee program in partnership with the Institute of Petroleum Energy Studies at the University of Port Harcourt, aimed at equipping youth with the necessary skills. Bandele emphasized that sustainability in the energy sector requires the inclusion of people and preparing for future energy needs.
