Tottenham Hotspur Targets Victor Osimhen with £65m Bid

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly ready to enter the race for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, following unsuccessful attempts by other European clubs to sign the Nigerian international. The north London club has already invested over £230m in new players this summer and sees Osimhen as a crucial addition to their attack.

Spurs are prepared to offer £65m for Osimhen, although this amount may be ambitious given that he is Galatasaray’s star player, was signed for €75m/£65m, and is under contract until 2029. Galatasaray has set Osimhen's valuation at €150m, and the player has indicated he will only leave if the club desires his transfer.

Tottenham has received "sporting approval" to begin formal negotiations for Osimhen's signing, with expectations that reaching an agreement on personal terms would not pose significant challenges. Osimhen has scored 107 goals in 145 appearances over the past four seasons and has been linked with several top clubs.
