Tottenham Hotspur Appoints Igor Tudor as Interim Manager

Tottenham Hotspur has decided to appoint Igor Tudor as their interim manager after the dismissal of Thomas Frank. The 47-year-old Croatian has reached a verbal agreement with the club, which is expected to announce the appointment soon.

Tudor's previous managerial role was with Juventus, where he was dismissed in October after an eight-match winless streak that saw the team drop to eighth in Serie A. His tenure at Juventus included a notable performance with Lazio and Marseille, leading Juventus to fourth place in the 2024-25 season despite losing the first 11 matches.

Frank was relieved of his duties following a 2-1 loss to Newcastle United, leaving Tottenham five points above the relegation zone with only two wins in 17 league games. The club's decision to appoint Tudor is a short-term fix while they consider long-term options, including a potential return for Mauricio Pochettino.

Tudor will oversee his first match against league leaders Arsenal in the North London derby on February 22.
