Yusufu Bala Usman Institute Leads National Dialogue for Peace in Nigeria on World Peace Day 2025

The Yusufu Bala Usman Institute (YBUI) in Zaria organized a national symposium on ending conflicts in Nigeria to promote peace on World Peace Day 2025. The event aimed to encourage collective responsibility in shaping a peaceful future for Nigeria by addressing root causes of conflict like insurgency and political exclusion.

Keynote speaker Ambassador Sani Bako emphasized the importance of peace for national development. The symposium, in collaboration with SPRiNG, facilitated candid dialogue and strategic planning among diplomats, scholars, religious leaders, and youth to find lasting solutions for peace and harmony in Nigeria.
