Oba Olugbenle Praises Ahmadiyya's Educational Impact

Oba Olugbenle, a traditional ruler, commended the educational contributions of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association during the 60th Annual UK Islamic Conference held at Hadeeqatul Mahdi in Alton, Hampshire, England. Speaking as a guest speaker on Saturday, he acknowledged the community's educational projects in Nigeria, which have provided quality education and technical skills to thousands of young people.

He specifically praised the establishment of the first Ahmadiyya University in Ikirun, Osun State, and the Masroor International Technical College in Ilaro, Ogun State, noting their roles in enhancing technical and vocational education. Oba Olugbenle emphasized that education is crucial for national transformation and urged individuals and organizations to invest in educational infrastructure.

He advocated for partnerships between faith-based organizations, traditional institutions, and the government to improve access to quality education and support Nigeria’s socio-economic development. The conference attracted participants from various countries, focusing on discussions related to faith, education, and community development.
