Chelsea Sets World Record for Player Sales in Transfer Window

Chelsea Football Club achieved a world record for player sales in a single transfer window, generating £519 million from player sales and loan fees. The club signed 10 first-team players during the summer transfer window for a total of £328 million.

This resulted in a net spend of minus £120 million for Chelsea. A notable transaction was Enzo Fernandez's transfer to Manchester City for £125 million, making Chelsea the first club to profit from the sale of a player who was acquired for over £100 million.

Other significant sales included Nicolas Jackson to Aston Villa for £65 million, Marc Cucurella for approximately £51.8 million, Liam Delap and Andrey Santos each for £50 million, Trevoh Chalobah to Como for around £30 million, and Tyrique George to Everton for £24 million on a permanent deal.
