TCN Begins Maintenance in Gombe to Enhance Power Supply Reliability

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has started maintenance work in Gombe to strengthen power supply reliability in the state. The maintenance, running from October 14 to 24, 2025, involves specific activities on the Shongo 33kV feeder.

During this period, there may be irregular electricity supply in Gombe due to feeder shutdowns, but the TCN assures no load loss or bulk power interruptions for consumers served by the Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC). The maintenance aims to improve grid reliability, prevent unplanned outages, and enhance the performance of the transmission network.
