TCN Announces Planned Power Outage in Abuja Due to Road Construction

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a planned power outage in Abuja from October 28 to November 16, 2025. The outage is necessary due to ongoing road construction by the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) along the Kuje axis, which will interfere with a 132kV transmission line.

The outage will affect power supply in several districts of Abuja from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. TCN assures residents that the outage is temporary and aims to facilitate the safe completion of critical infrastructure projects within the capital territory.
