Troops Eliminate 18 Terrorists in Bulabulin Forest Operations

Troops from the Joint Task Force and Civilian Joint Task Force successfully eliminated 18 terrorists in Bulabulin Forest and cleared insurgent enclaves along the Timbuktu Axis. The operations, coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, involved two separate engagements, utilizing air support to enhance ground assaults.

The troops destroyed life support structures and recovered nine AK-47 rifles, three anti-aircraft machine guns, five motorcycles, and assorted ammunition, significantly disrupting the terrorists' logistical capabilities. Additionally, during the operations, seven more terrorists were neutralized, with evidence suggesting higher casualties among the insurgents.

The air component played a crucial role in providing intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, ensuring accurate targeting and real-time situational awareness. The ongoing operations aim to prevent the regrouping of fleeing terrorists and maintain dominance across the theater.
