Troops Neutralize Suspected Kidnappers in Benue State Operation

Troops in Benue State, led by Lieutenant Ahmad Zubairu, successfully neutralized three suspected kidnappers during an operation to confront a criminal gang mounting illegal roadblocks in the Zaki Biam Division of Benue State. The gang had reportedly ambushed and robbed unsuspecting travelers before opening fire on the security team.

The troops swiftly responded, resulting in the neutralization of three gang members, while others managed to escape. Preliminary investigations revealed that the individuals belonged to a notorious syndicate responsible for repeated kidnappings and violent attacks in the Ukum LGA.

The operation was commended by Major General Mose Gara, who emphasized the need to sustain heightened operational tempo and intelligence-led activities to enhance security in vulnerable communities.
