Troops recover rifles, magazines in Borno operation

Troops operating under Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have recovered three rifles and five magazines along the Mafa border corridor in Borno State. Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed this development on Sunday, stating that the operation led to the neutralization of several terrorists on August 7.

The latest sweep resulted in the recovery of weapons believed to be part of an insurgent cache of arms and ammunition. Military authorities have commended the troops for their feat and urged them to sustain operations across the theatre.
