Nigerian Troops Repel ISWAP Attack, Kill Terrorists and Recover Arms

Nigerian troops successfully repelled an ISWAP terrorist attack on a military base in Borno State, killing several terrorists and recovering arms. The attack, which involved an attempt by terrorists to breach the base using improvised explosive devices, was swiftly detected and neutralized by the troops.

The operation also included the discovery of multiple terrorist corpses, weapons, ammunition, and logistical supplies abandoned by the fleeing terrorists. Lt. Col. Sani Una confirmed the destruction of two VBIEDs and emphasized the troops' preparedness and resilience in maintaining security in the area.
