Troops Rescue Six More Students from Lassa School

Troops from the Joint Task Force North East Operation Hadin Kai announced the rescue of six additional students from the Government Day Secondary School in Lassa. The rescued individuals included four adults and two infants, and the operation took place in the Talakawa area of Chibok Local Government.

Captain Moha Goni, representing the Joint Task Force, stated that the troops would continue their search and rescue operations until all remaining victims are recovered unharmed. The operation was supported by air and ground exploitation based on credible intelligence.

The rescued victims were evacuated to a secure location for medical evaluation and care. The Joint Task Force emphasized their commitment to the safe recovery of abducted individuals and the relentless pursuit of terrorists, highlighting the recovery of 50 rounds of ammunition abandoned by insurgents.
