Nigerian Cleric Warns Against Foreign Intervention in Security Issues

Rev. Sam Oy, the lead pastor of Transform Church, cautioned the Nigerian government against seeking foreign military assistance to tackle insecurity, stating that such interventions could destabilize the country.

He emphasized Nigeria's capacity to address security challenges internally and urged the government to demonstrate political will. Oy highlighted the Nigerian military's global recognition for peacekeeping missions in Africa and expressed concerns about rising insecurity in the Middle Belt and northern regions.

He called for swift government action to restore peace and safeguard lives.
